Vintage Griswold #8 Hammered Cast Iron Skillet 2008, Lid, Dutch Oven 2058 Set. What a rare find! This is a unique set in extremely good quality! This is a completely restored Griswold hammered set. #8 Dutch Oven (hinged). Matching hammered hinged lid. The lid fits both pans like a glove! These pans have been stripped to bare metal lye, vinegar, etc. And completely refurbished / reseasoned and is ready for many more years of use. All the surfaces are in absolute pristine condition with little evidence of use. There is a hairline crack on one of the ears of the lid, please see pictures. The crack comes through on the other side for 1 cm. On the bottom of the dutch oven there are some areas of lighter color- not sure why- the surface is flat, not pitted at all, it just looks like the seasoning didn’t soak in perfectly. There are no other breaks, cracks, crust, or residue. There is no wobble and no spin on either piece on a flat surface.
